- LiveJournal - [view] [svn]LiveJournal is an open source project that powers the Six Apart service of the same name.
Servers
- memcached [view] [svn]high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web applications by alleviating database load
- Perlbal [view] [svn]Reverse proxy load balancer and webserver. Lots of features. Status: stable. used in production for all LiveJournal traffic, as well as many big sites.
- MogileFS [view] [svn]user-space distributed filesystem. (see website) Status: stable. used in production for all LiveJournal files, as well as many big sites.
- DJabberd [view] [svn] [trac]An open source XMPP (Jabber) server that powers LJTalk. In DJabberd everything (Auth, Roster, filtering, routing, switching) is a plugin/hook. Makes it easy to integrate into your environment.
Tools and Libraries
- Data::ObjectDriver [view] [svn]A relational object driver that doesn't suck. Data::ObjectDriver is an extensible perl module that abstracts developers away from the complexities of SQL, caching and partitioning - without requiring a million other perl modules.
- Brackup [view] [svn]Backup tool.
Movable Type Plugins
All plugins that we create for Movable Type are released under an OSI-license (usually the Artistic license).
Except for those bundled with Movable Type itself (and only the shipped versions at that), all plugins in the repository are unsupported.
